CS electric A/S understands that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your personal data is used and shared online. We respect and value the privacy of everyone who visits this website and want you to be confident that any personal information collected from this website will continue to be used in accordance with our obligations and your rights under the law.

The Privacy Policy comply with the Personal Data Protection Act of Denmark, which is based on the EU Data Protection directive (GDPR). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully and ensure that you understand it.

What information will we collect

Our website will only collect and use personal data in ways that are described here, and in a manner that is consistent with our obligations and your rights under the law.

“Personal data” means any and all data that relates to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified from that data. The information we collect, and process will remain strictly confidential and will only be shared with and processed by our partners and integrations when strictly necessary. These partners and integrations are: Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Klaviyo. We have entered into data processing agreements (DPA) with all our partners. This means that our third-party partners will not share your information with other parties, will take required measures to ensure the confidentiality of this information, and notify both CS electric and all affected parties if there is a breach and information is shared.

What we do with your information and how we use it?

We use it to:

  • Deal with you and your company
  • Make sales to your company
  • Make contact with you and/or your company
  • Provide after sales service
  • Service current and potential users of CS electric
  • Send you information on CS electric’s products and services
  • Assist third parties in carrying out certain activities, such as processing and sorting data, monitoring how customers use our websites and issuing CS electric’s newsletter. Third parties are not allowed to use your personal information for their own purposes.
  • Send to carefully selected analytics vendors who provide CS electric with various report and tools to help with product engagement, website performance, user experience, sales, and marketing activities.

What does this Policy cover?

This Privacy Policy applies only to your use of our website and the information we collect on Facebook and LinkedIn. Our website may contain links to other websites. Please note that we have no control over how your data is collected, stored, or used by other websites and we advise you to check the Privacy Policies of any such websites before providing any data to them.

    • The right to data portability (obtaining a copy of your personal data to re-use with another service or organization).

    • Rights with respect to automated decision making and profiling.

If you want to know what personal data we have about you, you can ask us for details of it and for a copy of it. This is known as a subject access request. We will send you any request for information in a suitable electronic format as soon as possible. How do we use your data and ensure the security of your personal information?

  • All personal data is processed and stored securely, for no longer than is necessary considering the reason(s) for which it was first collected. We will comply with our obligations and always safeguard your rights under the GDPR.
  • Our use of your personal data will always have a lawful basis, either because it is necessary for our performance of a contract with you, because you have consented to our use of your personal data (e.g., by subscribing to e-mails), or because it is in our legitimate business interests. Specifically, we may use your data for the following purposes:
    • Providing and managing your access to our website.
    • Personalizing and tailoring your experience on our websites.
    • Supplying our products and/or services to you (please note that we require your personal data in order to enter into a contract with you).

How and where do we store your data?

We only keep your personal data for as long as we need to use it as described above in parts 3 and 8 above, and/or for as long as we have your permission to keep it.

Some or all of your data may be stored outside Denmark.

Data security is very important to us, and to protect your data we have taken suitable measures to safeguard and secure data collected through our site. Our approach to information security is constantly evolving and continually reviewed.

We may compile statistics about the use of our site including data on traffic, usage patterns, user numbers, sales, and other information. All such data will be anonymized and will not include any personally identifying data, or any anonymized data that can be combined with other data and used to identify you. We may from time to time share such data with third parties such as affiliates, partners, and advertisers. Data will only be shared and used within the bounds of the law.

How can you control your data?

In addition to your rights under the GDPR, set out in part 5 you may be given options to restrict our use of your data. We aim to give you strong controls on our use of your data for direct marketing purposes (including the ability to opt-out of receiving emails from us which you may do by unsubscribing using the links provided in our emails and at the point of providing your details).
