ECOPAC®
ECOPAC®
Collection and analysis of data from components and systems on a vessel can actively contribute to increased insight and optimization of the vessel’s performance. Our registered ECOPAC® system provides both data and documentation.
Our ECOPAC® is an energy optimizing system for electrically powered applications. By using our energy optimizing software, together with approved hardware, our ECOPAC® can typically deliver an energy saving of +60%, and thus giving a return on investment within 12-18 months.
In addition to saving energy, you reduce the wear and tear on your equipment and reduce noise. However, the most important advantage is the reduced CO2 emissions, which are reduced by a factor of up to three.
With our ECOPAC®, you therefore get an all-in-one solution without the need for ongoing maintenance.
Sustainability with ECOPAC®
- + 60% reduced energy consumption
- Return on investment within 12-18 months
- Reduced CO2 emission by three times reduced fuel consumption
- Reduced wear on electrical and mechanical equipment
- Instantaneous values from connected equipment
- Curves of trends and development
- Possibility of data transmission from local equipment to remote data center
- Performance history on replacement selection
- Performance history for re-design of similar functions
- Custom designed solution

Allan Kaae Jensen, Superintendent at DFDS: “About 6 years ago we talked to Gert Andersen from CS electric about how we could minimize the energy consumption of our ships. CS electric understood our needs and designed a solution that suited us. It was a really good solution at the time - and still is. Since we got ECOPAC® installed, we have seen an average saving on energy consumption of 55-80% depending on the complexity of system type and operating conditions. ECOPAC® has its justification when several systems have to work together to achieve the best savings. We have thereby achieved a significantly reduced CO² footprint and great financial savings. Many more ships should have ECOPAC® installed because, as I see it, it is a win-win for both the economy and the environment.”
